How to build great teams and minimise bureaucracy
People over process works has an interesting "reverse" meaning too. Having too many processes, or processes that are too authoritarian, takes away the fun and autonomy from a job. Great people want to have both autonomy and control in how they work. Reaching out for the "process" solution whenever there's some mishap will alienate these folks.
I agree very much with all above! 🙌 I have always said that 95% of problems in teams come because people do not speak to each other, but recently I expanded it (after having a good discussion with one of the good wise leaders in our company)and we added to speaking part also listening and then maintaining it - all equally important ☺️
Thank you for the article 🙌
Let’s say people have clear ownership, available space and time to communicate, but still job is not done. Does it 100% mean people are not competent enough? What steps usually should be taken in this case?
BTW listed out of scope topics sound pretty interesting! 👍
